16-18 Funding
Students aged 16–18 have access to a range of funding options to support their continued education or entry into the workforce through apprenticeships. These include fully funded places on further education courses at colleges and sixth forms, as well as government-supported apprenticeships, where training costs are covered and students earn a wage while gaining practical experience.
Additional financial support may be available through bursaries for those from low-income households, care leavers, or students with special educational needs. These options are designed to remove financial barriers and help young people successfully progress in their academic or vocational journeys.
